How many different negative situations do we face during the day? How do we react when faced with negative situations? What could be the source of these reactions? And how can we develop an attitude to turn such situations into positive ones? In this seminar, while searching for answers to these questions, you will be able to find tips on what “effective habits of mind” are and how we can create these habits. Costa and Kallick (2000) claim that “successful” people develop 16 habits of mind and define habits of mind as “reactions when faced with problems whose solutions cannot be predicted immediately”. During the training, you will be able to find clues on how to develop effective habits of mind based on various research findings while questioning 16 habits of mind, our own habits of mind and our life experiences that we think contribute to their formation.
